This painting is a reminder we don’t have to bear the weight of the world on our shoulders. If life is feeling heavy, are we carrying too much? Are we carrying around the weight of too many others? It’s ok to have empathy, show compassion and help where we can, it’s not ok to let the weight of the world linger on your shoulders.  

We live in a busy and chaotic world. Be mindful of what you let rest upon your shoulder. 

I chose a calming palette, a reminder of setting firm and kind boundaries with myself and others.
